Hobbies : I have played the guitar since I was 10. Playing guitar used to be more important for me than climbing. I played in several bands and performed concerts in many places. Now things have changed, my focus switched to climbing but my love for playing music remains the same. I always bring my guitar anywhere I go… even on big walls!

Sport : Windsurfing, Ski, Mountain bike, running.

Religion : I don’t believe in a specific religion. I am interested in religion in general as interesting philosophies and approaches to life.

Politic : It’s a pity how money is what runs the world today. Big corporations and politicians still concentrate themselves too much on their own financial interest rather than thinking globally. Helping the environment and the poor regions of the world is for me the priority today. We need more people with ideals in this world.

Music : I like particularly some good jazz. For while I climb some Drum & Bass is a must to release my strength! I really like also some Flamenco, Latino music, reggae, African music,… basically anything that’s well played with good musicians.

Litterature : I don’t read a lot. I always feel like I am missing some action when I read. I whish I would read more and learn more about important subjects.

Movies : I am allergic to cop films or cheesy American movies. I enjoy documentary as much as entertaining movie. I loved “Touching the Void”. For once a big production made a good climbing movie. I like movies like “Transpotting”, “Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain” or documentaries such as “An Inconvenient Truth”.

For : A good bier after a day of climbing, People who live fully their passion, the preservation of the environment.

Against : Hangovers, People stuck with principles, chipping, rain.
